Alisa is a Bay Area native and started her news career at KGO in the San Francisco Bay area. Prior to working at KSBW, Alisa was an anchor/reporter at WBZ in Boston, Mass., and moved to the central coast to get married and start a family. Alisa says she agrees with the famous words from the Wizard of Oz. "There’s no place like home."

Alisa has three children, and a dog...and they keep her very busy!!

Throughout her career, Alisa has interviewed many politicians and celebrities. She has covered quite a few national and international stories as well, everything from the Oklahoma City bombing , to the plane crash that killed John Kennedy Jr. and Princess Diana’s death and funeral in England.

Alisa loves to write, travel and dance. She danced professionally for several years. Now she dabbles in car racing and cooking, and loves the"Joy of Eating".
